Following the success of our previous sold-out AcuYin and Sound workshop, Joanna and Lisa will be guiding another afternoon of AcuYin and Sound to welcome in the fresh energy of spring.

AcuYin blends the long-held, passive stretches of Yin Yoga with targeted acupressure, rooted in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. While Yin Yoga stimulates the body’s meridian lines through stillness, acupressure deepens the therapeutic effect by activating specific acupoints along these energy pathways.

Joanna’s nourishing workshop is designed to support the transition from the inward, reflective energy of winter into the expansive, upward-moving energy of spring. We’ll stimulate key acupoints to help clear stagnation and awaken the body’s natural energy flow, before moving into long-held Yin postures that deepen relaxation and restore balance. You’ll be guided through a series of gentle, supportive postures to encourage detoxification, emotional release, and a renewed sense of clarity and direction.

Meet Joanna:Joanna’s journey with Yin Yoga began in 2009 during her teacher training with Simon Low’s Yoga Academy, where her fascination with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) first took root. Since then, she has completed over 1,000 hours of advanced yoga training, including studies with Bernie Clark and Jo Phee’s Yinspiration School, where she trained extensively in AcuYin and later assisted Jo Phee in London.

A qualified Clinical Acupuncturist and KORE Therapist, Joanna weaves together the energetic wisdom of Yin Yoga with the therapeutic principles of TCM. Her teaching is grounded, nurturing, and deeply intuitive.  offering students space to reconnect with their breath, body, and inner stillness.

The experience closes with a 1-hour Sound Healing Bath – a ‘mini vacation’ for your body and mind. Allow the soothing sounds to help you unwind, reset, and restore, leaving you feeling completely rejuvenated.
